This worksheet we did in class! To learn about the different soils around the world. She also told us some more facts.

So in class, we learn a lot about plants but one thing that stands out the most for me was. That dirt is basically dead! *we have been touching dead thing* { Dirt is made up of a mix of organic matter, although it is actually “dead.” That matter includes sand, clay, silt, rocks, pebbles, and more. However, what dirt does not contain is any of the minerals and nutrients from a garden soil mix, nor anything close to resembling an alive and working ecosystem }

We will be growing plants in class after we received a plant pet from our teacher! This is where our plant will hang out and grow.

I wish these weren't so prim or I would have one at home
