Alarm Clock

This morning, I awoke to the sound of my mom's noisy alarm clock in her hand ringing loudly by my door. She instructed me to get out of bed and turn it off. She then taught me how to do it myself. Afterward, she informed me that, starting today, I would need to learn how to wake up for school independently, though she would still come to check on me to ensure I was awake.
