Fun Fact #1: Traditional German Christmas food is the roast duck with red cabbage and potato dumplings. This tradition goes back to 1588 when the English Queen Elizabeth I ate roast duck for Christmas dinner.

I really badly want to eat the candy on this gingerbread, but Santa is keeping a close eye on me!

Fun Fact #3: The one who brings presents in Germany is not Santa Claus, but according to the tradition it is the baby Jesus – Christkind.
